Appropriates $1,000,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the Department of Veterans' Services for grants to nonprofit organizations.

Grants fund evidence-based, trauma-informed clinical care, physical fitness training from certified specialists, mindful movement classes, nutritional guidance, wellness education, peer outreach, and Native American veteran programming.

Services target active duty service members, veterans of all eras and discharge statuses, and their families experiencing post-traumatic stress injuries, traumatic brain injuries, depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, or suicidal ideation.

Nonprofit organizations must partner with qualified hospital systems and state universities to deliver services regardless of veterans' military service dates or discharge status.

Appropriation is exempt from Arizona Revised Statutes section 35-190 provisions regarding lapsing of appropriations.
