Beginning January 1, 2027, state legislators' annual salary shall equal the annual salary of a county supervisor as established in Arizona Revised Statutes section 11-419, subsection a.

Removes the state compensation commission's authority over legislative salaries by exempting the office of state legislator from the commission's biennial pay review process.

Eliminates the voter approval requirement for legislative salary recommendations that previously required approval by the electorate at a general election.

Maintains existing reimbursement provisions for legislators' travel and subsistence expenses incurred during legislative sessions and activities.

Bill becomes effective only if Arizona voters approve a related constitutional amendment through House Concurrent Resolution at the next general election.
