Adds section 13-422 to prohibit use of physical or deadly force against another person based on discovery, knowledge, or disclosure of the victim's actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.

Amends the definition of "adequate provocation" in section 13-1101 to explicitly exclude circumstances involving the discovery of, knowledge about, or potential disclosure of a person's sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression as justification for violence.

Specifies that "adequate provocation" cannot be based on unwanted nonforcible romantic or sexual advances or prior dating/romantic relationships related to sexual orientation or gender identity.

Adds definitions for "gender identity" (gender-related identity, appearance, or mannerisms regardless of designated sex at birth) and "sexual orientation" (homosexuality, heterosexuality, or bisexuality).
