• Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 16-322 to establish separate petition signature requirements for justice of the peace and constable candidates based on county population.

• Requires candidates in counties with populations of one million or more to gather signatures equal to at least 1% but not more than 10% of qualified signers in the precinct.

• Requires candidates in counties with populations of less than one million to gather signatures equal to at least 1% but not more than 10% of qualified signers in the precinct, or 300 signatures, whichever is less.

• Mandates that filing officers in counties with populations under one million publicize the revised signature requirements and notify all candidates and applicants for justice of the peace and constable positions for the 2026 election.
