Appropriates $2,000,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the department of administration for a fire incident management grant program.

Allows up to $250,000 of appropriated funds to be used for program administration and audits, with remaining funds distributed as grants to municipal fire departments and fire districts.

Grants fund hardware and software for a secure incident management platform based on federal emergency management agency standards, including incident command systems, collaboration tools, firefighter safety monitoring, and smartphone applications.

Grants awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and fully fund the secure incident management system costs for each recipient for three years.

Department of administration must submit a report by December 31, 2025, detailing all applicants and grant recipients with award amounts to the president of the senate, speaker of the house, governor, and secretary of state.
