AZ HB2471

Removes provisions allowing county recorders to authorize emergency voting centers for specific elections and eliminates associated board approval requirements.

Requires county recorders to establish on-site early voting locations at their offices that are open until 7:00 p.m. on the Saturday and Sunday immediately preceding election day, and open until at least 3:00 p.m. on Monday preceding election day.

Allows county recorders to establish additional early voting locations beyond the recorder's office as deemed necessary.

Permits qualified electors to update voter registration information at on-site early voting locations and other early voting locations, subject to secretary of state procedures.

Removes prohibition on delivering or mailing early ballots to persons who have not requested them, except for voters on the active early voting list.
