Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 13-412 to modify the duress defense by clarifying that conduct is justified if a reasonable person would believe they were compelled by threat or use of immediate physical force resulting in serious physical injury.

Makes the duress defense unavailable if a person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly placed themselves in a situation where they would probably be subjected to duress.

Eliminates the duress defense for offenses involving homicide or serious physical injury.

Eliminates the duress defense for violations of sections 13-3212, 13-3620, 13-3623, and chapters 14 and 35.1 of Arizona Revised Statutes.
