Requires courts to inquire whether a convicted person possesses a concealed weapons permit at sentencing, and if the conviction makes them a prohibited possessor, the court must order surrender of the permit or require an affidavit declaring it lost.

Authorizes the probation department to locate and seize a concealed weapons permit if the person fails to surrender it after revocation, with the permit transferred to the Department of Public Safety.

Requires courts issuing domestic violence protection orders that prohibit firearm possession to inquire whether the defendant possesses a concealed weapons permit and order its surrender or revocation within three business days.

Mandates the Department of Public Safety be notified of all permit revocations under these provisions.
