Appropriates $50,000,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the Department of Public Safety for local border support.

Requires the department to fund local law enforcement officer positions for border drug interdiction to apprehend individuals charged with drug trafficking, human smuggling, illegal immigration, and other border-related crimes.

Authorizes grants to cities, towns, and counties for costs associated with prosecuting and detaining individuals charged with drug trafficking, human smuggling, illegal immigration, and other border-related crimes.

Allows the department to fund all capital-related equipment for these purposes.
