HB2624 - Timeshare Salespersons; Licensure

• Creates a new "timeshare salesperson" license category under Arizona's real estate licensing requirements, allowing individuals to sell timeshare interests under supervision of a licensed real estate broker.

• Establishes separate, narrowed examination and training requirements specifically for timeshare salespersons focused on timeshare laws, ownership methods, and business ethics, reducing barriers to employment while maintaining public protection.

• Authorizes the commissioner to issue a one-time 30-day certificate of convenience without examination to qualified applicants, provided their employing broker certifies they will receive training in timeshare and contract laws before participating in sales.

• Allows real estate brokers and salespersons licensed under existing requirements to engage in timeshare sales without separate licensure, and permits timeshare salespersons to have one employing broker in the timeshare sales category.

• Effective date: June 30, 2026.
