Allows school districts and charter schools to offer career and technical education (CTE) courses to middle school students during the 2025-2026, 2026-2027, and 2027-2028 school years that count toward both eighth grade promotion and high school graduation requirements.

Requires all public schools to accept and recognize CTE credits earned by students who complete the course and earn a passing grade.

Schools offering CTE courses must enter into agreements or contracts with career and technical education districts, state-approved schools, or community college districts to provide the courses.

School districts and charter schools must report to the department of education by July 1 each year on the number of CTE courses offered and students who successfully completed them.

The department of education must compile all reports and submit a summary to the governor, president of the senate, and speaker of the house by December 31, 2028; the entire section is repealed December 31, 2036.
