AZ HB2680

Adds Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-721 establishing mandatory sentencing enhancements for felony offenses committed against vulnerable adults as defined in section 13-3623.

Increases presumptive, minimum, and maximum sentences by 3 years for class 4, 5, or 6 felonies, or by 5 years for class 2 or 3 felonies when the victim is a vulnerable adult.

Eliminates eligibility for suspension of sentence, probation, pardon, or release from confinement until the full sentence is served, except for releases authorized by sections 31-233 or 41-1604.07 or sentence commutation.

Applies to persons aged 18 or older or those tried as adults who commit the offense knowing or having reason to know the victim is a vulnerable adult.

Enhancement sentence is in addition to any other applicable enhanced sentences for the offense.
