Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 15-701.01 to add "geography" as a required academic standard area for high school social studies curricula.

Requires that academic standards for geography include instruction on the "Gulf of America."

Delays implementation of the Gulf of America instruction requirement until the state board of education next updates the social studies standards.

Maintains existing requirements for civics education, American civics, personal finance, comparative political ideologies, and civics testing based on the naturalization exam.
