AZ HB2733

Adds qualified immunity for public entities and public employees from liability for property damage when a peace officer intercepts, captures, disables, shoots, destroys, or disables an unmanned aircraft within 15 miles of Arizona's international border.

Qualified immunity applies only if the peace officer had reasonable suspicion that the unmanned aircraft was being used to violate Arizona Title 13, Chapter 23, 34, or 34.1 (drug trafficking and human smuggling statutes).

Defines "unmanned aircraft operator" to include the aircraft owner and any person or group acting in concert with the operator.
