Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 25-403 to modify how courts consider a child's preferences in custody and parenting time decisions.

Children at least fourteen years of age who are sufficiently mature may select which parent they prefer for custody and parenting time, and that selection is presumptive unless the court determines it is not in the child's best interests.

Changes the standard from "suitable age and maturity" to a specific age threshold of fourteen years for children's custody preferences to be given presumptive weight.

The child's presumptive right to select a parent can be overridden only if the court finds the selection is not in the child's best interests.
