Appropriates $100,000 and one full-time equivalent position to the Department of Economic Security in fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 for an early childhood grant writer position.

Grant writer shall identify grants for early childhood educational and care services for children birth through five years of age and assist providers in applying for grants, obtaining licensure, and executing grant awards.

Department must report to the president of the senate, speaker of the house, governor, and secretary of state by September 1, 2027 on the number of successful grant awards assisted, total dollar value of awards, and number of individuals and organizations receiving awards.
