• Increases charter school additional assistance funding from $2,090.10 to $2,131.90 per student (preschool-grade 8) and from $2,435.97 to $2,484.69 per student (grades 9-12) for fiscal year 2025-2026.

• Sets the base level for K-12 education funding at $5,113.26 per student count for fiscal year 2025-2026.

• Adjusts transportation support levels per route mile from $2.95 to $3.01 (0.5 miles or less and more than 1.0 miles) and from $2.42 to $2.47 (more than 0.5 through 1.0 miles) for fiscal year 2025-2026.

• Reduces qualifying tax rates for school districts: from $1.5930 to $1.5436 for high school districts and from $3.1860 to $3.0872 for unified school districts in tax year 2025.

• Allows the Department of Education to use failing schools tutoring fund monies in fiscal year 2025-2026 for professional development, coaching, and progress monitoring instead of direct tutoring services.
