AZ HCR2002

Prohibits counties from authorizing voting centers in place of or in addition to specifically designated polling places, eliminating the use of voting centers for regular elections.

Removes provisions allowing emergency voting centers that were previously authorized by county board resolution for specific election dates.

Eliminates references to voting centers in early voting procedures, on-site early ballot tabulation areas, and election board appointment rules.

Removes restrictions on electioneering at early voting locations and polling places, allowing political activity outside the 75-foot limit at all facilities used as polling places.

Requires voter approval through statewide ballot measure before changes take effect, submitted at the next general election pursuant to Arizona Constitution article IV, part 1, section 1.
