AZ HCR2004

Proposes an amendment to Article VI, Section 14 of the Arizona Constitution regarding superior court original jurisdiction.

Modifies the section on annulment and dissolution of marriage by removing the phrase "Divorce and for" and replacing it with "Annulment and dissolution" to correct technical language.

The amendment maintains all existing categories of superior court original jurisdiction, including cases involving real property, monetary disputes of $1,000 or more, felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, probate matters, and family law proceedings.

Requires voter approval through a general election ballot proposition as specified in Article XXI of the Arizona Constitution.

Introduced by Representative Kolodin in the Arizona House of Representatives during the 57th Legislature's first regular session in 2025.
