Proposes amendment to Article XXII, Section 22 of the Arizona Constitution to change the method of capital punishment from lethal injection to firing squad for future death sentences.

Defendants sentenced to death for offenses committed before November 23, 1992 retain the choice between firing squad or lethal gas as execution methods.

Execution by firing squad or lethal gas shall be administered under procedures and supervision prescribed by law, and shall take place within the state prison.

Requires submission of the proposition to Arizona voters at the next general election for approval.
