Proposes an amendment to Article VII, Section 10 of the Arizona Constitution to repeal the open primary provision.

Removes language allowing persons registered as "no party preference" or independent to vote in the primary election of any qualified political party.

Maintains the requirement that the Legislature enact a direct primary election law for nomination of candidates for state, county, and city offices, including U.S. Senator and Congressional representatives.

Requires voter approval through a general election ballot measure as provided by Article XXI of the Arizona Constitution.

The Secretary of State shall submit the proposition to voters at the next general election.
