Amends Arizona's newborn screening program to add Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) to the state's screening panel.

Requires the department of health services to add DMD screening within two years after it is added to the federal recommended uniform screening panel by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Effective date is October 1, 2027, or two years after DMD is added to the federal recommended uniform screening panel, whichever is earlier.

Requires the director of the department of health services to notify the Arizona legislative council within ten days after DMD is added to the federal recommended uniform screening panel.
