Extends the hiring deadline for corrections officers in the defined contribution plan from July 1, 2018 to July 1, 2026 for non-designated positions.

Adds a new category of corrections officer employees hired on or after July 1, 2026 in non-designated positions who are automatically enrolled in the defined contribution plan.

Increases the employee contribution rate for corrections officers hired on or after July 1, 2026 in non-designated positions from seven percent to seven and one-half percent of gross pensionable compensation.

Increases the employer contribution rate for corrections officers hired on or after July 1, 2026 in non-designated or designated positions from five percent to ten percent of gross pensionable compensation, effective July 1, 2026.

Maintains existing vesting schedules and contribution rules for all other participant categories in the public safety personnel defined contribution retirement plan.
