Appropriates $6,500,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the department of administration for a fire incident management grant program.

Allows up to $250,000 of appropriated funds to be used by the department of administration for program administration and audits of grant recipients.

Distributes remaining funds as grants to municipal fire departments and fire districts for hardware and software enabling a statewide secure incident management platform based on federal emergency management agency standards.

Requires the incident management system to include standardized incident command capabilities, collaboration and communications solutions, secure messaging, resource tracking, firefighter safety monitoring, and smartphone-based applications.

Awards grants on a first-come, first-served basis with each grant fully funding the secure incident management system costs for three years.
