Extends the notice period for nonpayment of rent from 5 days to 15 days before a landlord can file for eviction under a special detainer action.

Changes the timeframe for abandonment determination when rent is unpaid from 10 days to 15 days for cases involving remaining personal property, and from 5 days to 15 days for cases with no personal property.

Modifies the cure period for material noncompliance with rental agreements from 5 days to 10 days, except for health and safety violations which remain at 5 days.

Updates terminology from "month to month" and "week to week" to "month-to-month" and "week-to-week" for consistency in the statute.
