Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-2006 regarding the Department of Health Services monitoring of alcohol and drug screening, education, and treatment programs.

Corrects a statutory reference by replacing "8-249" with "8-343" in the list of statutes that govern programs and facilities subject to Department monitoring.

Maintains Department authority to adopt standards for approval and referral to alcohol and drug screening, education, and treatment facilities.

Preserves Department responsibilities to establish standardized screening assessments and reporting requirements for such facilities.
