Full-time state employees are prohibited from working remotely, with an exception allowing supervisors to permit sick employees to work remotely.

Each state agency must require full-time employees to perform assigned duties at the agency's office during regularly scheduled work hours.

Full-time employees whose duties require site visits, inspections, or providing services at locations other than the agency's office are exempt from the office-work requirement when performing duties at those external locations during regularly scheduled hours.

Virtual meetings and conference calls do not constitute remote work under this prohibition.
