• Maintains existing confidentiality protections and restrictions on further disclosure of DCS information by authorized recipients.

• Preserves all current exceptions for releasing DCS information to courts, law enforcement, service providers, and other authorized entities for purposes of child safety and legal proceedings.

• Violation of confidentiality requirements remains a class 2 misdemeanor offense.
