• Public schools and local education agencies must post a link on their websites to the most recent civil rights data collection survey information they reported to the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights.

• Data posted must comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and schools must redact any protected student information before publishing.

• The Arizona Department of Education must submit an annual school safety report to the governor, legislature president and speaker, and secretary of state by December 15 each year.

• The school safety report shall include the number of school safety incidents, number of law enforcement referrals, and school climate data as reported to the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights.

• The Department of Education must collect report information from publicly available sources and data schools reported to the federal Office for Civil Rights, and post the completed report on its website in an accessible format.
