Department of Administration shall lease the Marana prison site to the United States government or its private contractor for $1 per year to house individuals detained for immigration violations.

Lease term is four years initially with a two-year extension option available to the lessee.

Lessee must maintain the Marana prison site in the same or better condition as received, with all repairs and refurbishments made to generally accepted industry standards.

Department of Administration may terminate the lease with 12 months' written notice if state prison beds are needed for state inmates or if a purchaser agreement exists for the facility.

This statute expires September 30, 2032.
