AZ SB1304

Allows the director of the Department of Water Resources to designate portions of cities or towns in active management areas as having an "assured water supply" if they meet specified criteria.

Requires the designated portion to be located entirely within an irrigation and water conservation district established under Arizona title 48, chapter 19.

Requires the city or town to contract with the irrigation and water conservation district for at least 100 years to receive and deliver water for exclusive municipal use on irrigation district lands.

Requires sufficient surface water or effluent of adequate quality to be continuously available for at least 100 years and demonstration of financial capability to construct necessary water facilities, treatment works, and delivery systems.

Grants the director authority to review and revoke an assured water supply designation if conditions are no longer met.
