Adds section 16-231 to Arizona Revised Statutes to prohibit public officers and employees involved in election administration from performing election duties if they are candidates on the ballot for that election.

Exception applies to the office of precinct committeeman, which is exempted from the prohibition.

Applies to any public officer or employee whose duties include any aspect of election administration or operations.
