Prohibits teachers, principals, and school employees from subjecting students to corporal punishment, defined as inflicting physical pain as a means of discipline.

Exempts restraint and seclusion techniques that comply with section 15-105, and allows reasonable physical contact for maintaining order, control, and safety in school settings.

Removes the provision in section 15-843 that allowed school districts to adopt procedures for using corporal punishment if approved by the governing board.

Requires schools to consider reasonable judgments made by school personnel when determining compliance with restraint or seclusion techniques during disciplinary incidents.
