Department of Child Safety caseworkers must present their DCS identification when visiting children at schools for interviews.

Caseworkers may be asked to show a valid driver license or nonoperating identification license upon request by the school.

Schools may not retain digital or physical records of caseworkers' personal identifying information, but may keep records of DCS identification.

If a caseworker declines or cannot provide required identification, they must give the school contact information for their DCS office so the school can verify their employment and identity.

Applies the same identification requirements to both DCS caseworkers (Section 8-530.08) and schools receiving caseworker visits (Section 15-160.03).
