Increases the maximum individual award from the residential contractors' recovery fund from $30,000 to $60,000.

Raises the cap on total fund liability for any single residential contractor's license from $200,000 to $400,000.

Increases the maximum deposit/down payment award from $30,000 to $60,000 when no work is performed or materials are delivered.

Makes minor technical corrections to statutory language, including changing "out of" to "from" and "per cent" to "percent."

Maintains existing limitations that fund awards are limited to residential properties only and actual damages must be established by licensed contractor bids or work values.
