Amends section 36-550.05 of Arizona Revised Statutes regarding community mental health residential treatment services and facilities.

Removes the two-year maximum duration limit for residential treatment programs serving persons requiring intensive support.

Prohibits inpatient behavioral health facilities from discharging clients determined to need residential treatment placement until a suitable residential treatment program that accepts the client is provided.

Maintains requirements for five types of community mental health programs: short-term crisis residential treatment, residential treatment, secure behavioral health residential facilities, semisupervised group living, and socialization/day care programs.

Continues requirements for case management systems, client movement to least restrictive services, and coordination between treatment programs in the community.
