Adds new subsection allowing school officials to request information from the state board of education about allegations of misconduct against certificated or noncertificated persons who resigned or separated from employment before investigation or disciplinary action was completed.

Requires the state board of education to provide requested information after verifying the official's identity, unless providing it would impede the board's investigation.

Maintains confidentiality of all investigation information, records, and reports received by schools and school districts, which may only be used for employment purposes.

Preserves existing provisions allowing the state board to share investigation information with current employers, prospective employers, third-party contractor entities, licensing agencies, and other state education agencies.
