• Medical schools at Arizona universities under the Board of Regents must post admissions information on their websites and in promotional materials, including minimum qualifications, application fees, deadlines, and interview dates.

• Medical schools must offer interviews to all in-state applicants who submit timely applications, meet qualifications and requirements, and pay all fees.

• Medical schools must give priority consideration to in-state applicants in the first round of admissions interviews.

• Medical schools must report to the Arizona Board of Regents by October 1 each year on the number of in-state applicants, those interviewed, those admitted, and compliance procedures.

• An applicant is considered "from this state" if classified as an in-state student under Arizona law or graduated from an Arizona high school; the law becomes effective December 31, 2026.
