Proposes constitutional amendment to Article V, Section 12 of the Arizona Constitution regarding compensation of elective state officers.

Removes legislative salaries from the commission on salaries process and establishes that legislative salaries shall be set by law instead.

Eliminates the requirement that legislative salary recommendations be submitted to voters for approval at general elections.

Maintains the commission on salaries for elective state officers to make recommendations on non-legislative officer compensation, which become effective without legislative action unless disapproved or altered.

Requires voter approval of the amendment at the next general election per Article XXI of the Arizona Constitution.
