Proposes amendment to Arizona Constitution Article V, Section 12 to modify compensation procedures for elective state officers.

Establishes that salaries for state legislators, superintendent of public instruction, governor, secretary of state, state treasurer, and attorney general shall be set by law, removing these positions from the salary commission process.

Removes the requirement for voter approval of legislative salary recommendations through general election ballot propositions.

Maintains the commission on salaries for elective state officers for other positions, composed of five members appointed by the governor (two), president of senate, speaker of house, and chief justice.

Requires submission of this constitutional amendment to voters at the next general election for approval.
