Upgrades the offense of interference with or disruption of an educational institution from a class 6 felony to a class 1 misdemeanor for persons under 18, while maintaining the class 6 felony classification for adults 18 and older

Clarifies that "interference with or disruption" includes acts that might reasonably lead to evacuation, closure, or rescheduling of school activities, with no actual disruption required for the offense to apply

Adds an exemption specifying that normal school district or law enforcement procedures for investigating or disciplining students do not constitute interference or disruption

Makes technical language changes throughout the statute, replacing phrases like "violations of" with "violating" and "postponement" with "rescheduling"
