Appropriates $100,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2026-2027 to the Arizona Department of Water Resources for updated stormwater recharge mapping

Requires the department to create an updated map of potential stormwater recharge sites within one year, identifying locations that would not appropriate appropriable surface water or conflict with vested water rights

Identified sites must be located on any public or private lands in Arizona and have optimum soil conditions for stormwater infiltration and groundwater recharge

Director must coordinate with the state natural resource conservation board to identify locations with ideal soil conditions for stormwater infiltration

Defines "stormwater" as unappropriated rainwater runoff that does not enter a stream or natural channel or is otherwise lost to evaporation
