Appropriates $175,000,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2026-2027 to the Arizona Department of Transportation for safety and capacity improvements to State Route 260 between milepost 200 and milepost 346.

Allocates $95 million for roadway widening and passing lane expansion (including four lanes where feasible), $35 million for shoulder expansion and guardrail modernization, $25 million for wildlife strike mitigation, and $20 million for drainage and slope stabilization upgrades.

Requires project prioritization based on crash/safety data, traffic volume, rural emergency response needs, local economic impact, and engineering feasibility.

Mandates annual reports to legislative committees beginning December 1, 2027, covering project schedules, expenditures, safety improvements, environmental compliance, and funding deficiencies, plus a public dashboard showing project status.

Funds are exempt from standard lapsing provisions until June 30, 2036, at which point this section is repealed.
