Requires landlords to file a satisfaction of judgment within 40 days after an eviction judgment has been paid in full by the tenant.

Waives the filing fee for tenants who file a motion to compel satisfaction of judgment against a landlord following an eviction action.

Eliminates the hearing requirement and automatically deems the judgment satisfied if the landlord fails to respond within 15 days and the tenant submits proof of payment.

Authorizes judges in superior court to seal all eviction-related records when granting a tenant's motion to compel satisfaction of judgment under section 33-1379.

Grants justice of the peace courts discretion to seal eviction records if the landlord failed to comply with the satisfaction of judgment filing requirement.
