Requires all occupational licensing authorities under Title 32 to establish criteria for granting licenses, certificates, or registrations through apprenticeship programs as an alternative pathway to licensure.

Applicants must complete either a U.S. Department of Labor-approved or Arizona Department of Economic Security-approved apprenticeship program in their occupational field.

Apprenticeship training may be completed at a state-licensed school or under supervision of a Department of Economic Security-approved trainer who holds the same license the applicant seeks.

If an examination is required for licensure, apprenticeship program applicants must pass the same exam, and passing scores cannot discriminate between apprenticeship applicants and vocational/trade school applicants.
