Amends Arizona law governing qualified marketplace contractors (gig workers using digital platforms) to clarify their classification as independent contractors for state and local employment, unemployment, and workers' compensation purposes.

Modifies contract termination provisions to specify that either party may terminate without cause at any time with reasonable notice as expressly provided in the contract, or a contractor may terminate unilaterally with reasonable notice.

Clarifies that payments to qualified marketplace contractors must be based on performance of services or output, and contractors must bear their own expenses and tax responsibilities.

Excludes from this section services involving transportation of freight, sealed envelopes, boxes, parcels, or other sealed containers for compensation.

Applies only to contracts or addendums entered into after the effective date of the act.
