Requires inspections of smoke dampers and fire dampers in fire protection systems to follow standards established by nationally recognized standards developing organizations in cities, towns, and counties with adopted building or fire codes.

Authorizes the state forester and state fire marshal to provide certified inspectors and other resources to assist local authorities with fire damper and smoke damper inspections upon request.

Mandates that cities, towns, and counties with adopted fire codes implement regulations to enforce these inspection requirements by January 1, 2027.

Adds new section 9-500.54 to Arizona Revised Statutes governing fire protection system inspections in cities and towns, and amends section 11-861 to extend similar requirements to counties.
