Appropriates $100,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2026-2027 to the Arizona Commerce Authority to study the economic benefits of small modular nuclear reactors and data centers to the state and local governments.

The study must analyze jobs created by construction and operation of small modular reactors and data centers, including average annual salaries for those positions.

The study must examine state and local tax revenue generated by small modular reactors and data centers, as well as potential support for local broadband and infrastructure investments.

The study must evaluate secondary and tertiary businesses that may relocate to areas anchored by small modular reactors or data centers and the jobs those businesses could create.

The Arizona Commerce Authority must submit a report of findings to the governor, legislative leaders, and relevant committee chairs by June 30, 2027, and publish the report on the authority's website.
