Appropriates $1,000,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2026-2027 to the University of Arizona for a PFAS health study

The study will test perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) levels in the blood of Arizona residents

Eligible participants include those who receive drinking water from private groundwater wells or public water systems contaminated with PFAS

Contamination threshold is defined as PFAS levels exceeding the EPA's maximum contaminant level under national primary drinking water regulations (40 CFR parts 141 and 142)
