Online lodging marketplaces are prohibited from displaying, offering for rent, or transacting business for properties or operators in Arizona that are not in compliance with all applicable state, county, and local laws at the time of rental or occupancy.

Violations carry a civil penalty of $250 per violation, with each day a violation occurs counting as a separate violation.

Cities, towns, and counties are authorized to verify and enforce compliance with this section, collect penalties, and report violation numbers and penalty amounts to the Arizona Department of Revenue.

The bill also changes the heading of Title 44, Chapter 38 from "Businesses Exempt From Mask Mandate" to "Businesses Generally."
